Truck loading calculator
Pallets and boxes together in a trailer, a box truck or a van. The payload is the legal-gross figure from our sources, so a heavy load stops where the road does.
Worked example — change anything
Change a size or the stacking — the number below is planned again in your browser and checked. Leave Qty empty to ask “how many fit?”.
empty = as many as fit
empty = as many as fit
Result
356 loaded
- Pallet 48 × 40 in: 20 of 20
- Carton 24 × 16 × 16 in: 336 (as many as fit)
- ✓ Checked: door, payload, floor support and stacking rules re-measured
- Pallet 48 × 40 in
- Carton 24 × 16 × 16 in
Mixed cargo? Pallets, cartons and crates in one load — the planner opens with this cargo already in it.
How it plans
- Lines with a Qty are placed first; lines with an empty Qty then take the space that is left.
- Every box must pass the door in the way it is placed, the load stays under the payload, every box stands fully on the floor or on boxes, and a heavy box never goes on a much lighter one.
- The result is re-measured by a separate checker before it is shown — the same one that checks every plan in the planner.
- Nothing you type leaves your browser.
