Excel load calculator
A free .xlsx with live formulas. No email, no sign-up — the download starts when you press the button.
Opens in Excel, Numbers and Google Sheets.
What is in it
- Pallets — pick the equipment, type the pallet size, height and weight, and whether two may stack: how many fit, and whether space or payload stops it.
- Boxes — the same for one carton size, with the share of the volume used.
- Equipment — inside size, door, payload and volume of 12 containers, trailers, trucks and vans: the same numbers the planner uses, each with its sources on our equipment pages.
What a spreadsheet cannot do
Simple arithmetic: one orientation per row, no mixed sizes. The planner at trimload.com also checks the door size for every box and the stacking rules (nothing on top, max layers, heavy on light) — and often fits more by turning some pieces.
Mixed sizes in one load? Paste the packing list into the planner — free up to 15 lines.
